FrameCap
getframecap.com
Free Chrome extension that lets ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity 'watch' a YouTube video by capturing its transcript plus timestamped frames.
What it does
FrameCap
FrameCap is a free browser extension for Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc. When you ask an AI chatbot about a YouTube video it normally reads only the transcript; FrameCap captures both what is said (a timestamped transcript from the captions) and what is shown (sharp, timestamped frames of the screen, up to 4K) in one click, then sends them to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity, including as a PDF. Version 1.0.7 added a stop button, a PDF mode for AI chats and 4K ZIP export for AI agents. It runs inside your browser, needs no account, credit card or API key, and the developer says a Pro version (local video files, more agent features) is coming later.
